Brad is an experienced lawyer in the private, public, and academic sectors with broad practice experience across criminal law, health and disability law, administrative and public law, and regulatory and professional disciplinary law. Most of his criminal and health law practice was spent working with clients and their families who are living with a mental illness or intellectual disability. He has significant legal and clinical governance experience in the treatment and care of mental health patients. As an academic, Brad lectures in the fields of health and mental health laws in the medical and law faculties of top-ranked Queensland universities.
Brad is a resourceful leader in both change management and transformation. He has applied this in both his practice and in the implementation of legislative and policy reform across multiple government departments.
